Lửa Phật: Vietnamese’s First Fantasy Film Didn’t do Too Well at LOCAL MARKET

Lửa Phật (Once Upon A Time in Vietnam) is the first fantasy film made in Vietnam by Viet Kieu director Dustin Nguyen. I heard they'd used about 1.2 million USD dollars and unfortunately, according to several news paper articles, it didn't do well with local audience. I think so far they've made like a third of the cost of the film. I hope they can show this overseas to get some money back since they got distribution rights in a lot of other countries.

Overall, it looks like a spectacular film that can entertain. Check out the above lengthy Youtube video of behind-the-scene of Once Upon a Time in Vietnam.
